I Suoni delle Dolomiti

Varie location in alta quota, Madonna di Campiglio Gratuito

Where music meets the peaks: a festival like no other

I Suoni delle Dolomiti is much more than a music festival: it is a sensory experience that unites music, nature and hiking in an unrepeatable combination. Now in its 31st edition, this event transforms mountain huts, alpine meadows and Dolomite peaks into natural stages where internationally renowned artists perform before an audience that has reached the concert venue on foot, walking along the paths of the Dolomiti di Brenta.

The 2026 Programme

The 2026 edition presents 18 concerts in 17 different locations, from 24 August to 3 October, with a programme that spans genres and musical styles:

  • Daniele Silvestri: the Roman singer-songwriter brings his poetry among the peaks
  • Jakub Józef Orliński: the Polish countertenor with his crystalline voice at high altitude
  • Danilo Rea: jazz piano improvisations with the Dolomites as backdrop
  • And many more artists from the Italian and international music scene

How to Participate

Every concert is free of charge and can only be reached on foot, with walks of varying difficulty and duration. Local alpine guides accompany the audience along the trails, making the journey itself an integral part of the experience. Departures are from the various villages of Val Rendena, ascending towards the concert venues, immersed in the mountain silence that will soon be filled with music.

I Suoni delle Dolomiti embodies a philosophy: music as a means to approach the mountains with respect and wonder. Every concert is a unique event, where the natural acoustics of the Dolomite rock and the silence of high altitude create an atmosphere impossible to replicate in any concert hall. An unmissable experience for lovers of both music and mountains.
