The Parish of S. Andrea Apostolo in Tione di Trento is the parish community dedicated to the apostle Andrew, the first disciple called by Jesus according to the Gospel of John. The parish is one of the main centres of religious life in the town, capital of the Giudicarie and reference point for the entire valley.
The parish community of Sant'Andrea keeps alive the Christian faith tradition in these lands, evangelised in the 4th century by Saint Vigilius, guarding a spiritual and artistic heritage including the works of the Baschenis painters and the numerous churches and chapels dotting the Giudicarie territory.
