Santa Lucia, Protector of Sight in the Village of Giustino

The Parish of Santa Lucia in Giustino is the village's main church, dedicated to the Syracusan martyr who protects sight and is patron of the blind. The cult of Saint Lucy is particularly felt in Alpine communities, where the feast of December 13th traditionally marks the beginning of the Christmas season.
