The Parish Church in the Heart of Madonna di Campiglio

The Parish Church of Madonna di Campiglio is the main place of worship in the famous resort, situated at over 1,500 metres altitude between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello glacier. The parish church serves the resident community and the thousands of tourists who visit the "Pearl of the Dolomites" in every season.

The religious building tells the story of Campiglio, from ancient hospice for medieval pilgrims to world-famous tourist destination. The Christian tradition of this place has its roots in the evangelising work of Saint Vigilius and the centuries-long presence of monks and religious who first inhabited these high mountain places.
