Description
Pedruc Waterfall: a Natural Wonder of Val Genova
The Pedruc Waterfall is arguably the tallest waterfall in Val Genova, near Carisolo in Trentino. The Sarca torrent plunges dramatically over rock walls shaped by centuries of glacial erosion, surrounded by lush alpine vegetation.
It lies along the famous Waterfall Trail connecting Antica Vetreria (790m) to Malga Bedole (1,580m). Val Genova was called the "Versailles of the Alps" in the 19th century.
