A Magical Night Under the Dolomite Stars

The Night of the Mountain Huts is a unique event that transforms the alpine refuges of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and the Dolomiti di Brenta into places of encounter, culture and contemplation. On 11 July 2026, hikers and mountain lovers are invited to reach the huts on foot for a special evening and night at altitude, with music, stories, traditional dinners and stargazing.

The Mountain Hut Overnight Experience

Sleeping in an alpine refuge is an experience every mountain lover should have at least once. The Night of the Mountain Huts makes this experience even more special with a coordinated programme of events across the participating huts of Val Rendena and the Dolomiti di Brenta.

The Mountain Huts of Val Rendena

Val Rendena and the Dolomiti di Brenta are home to some of the most beautiful and historic mountain huts in the Alps: from Rifugio Tuckett at the foot of the Dolomite spires, to Rifugio Brentei in the heart of the mountain group, to Rifugio Graffer on the Grostè and Rifugio Segantini with its unrivalled view of the Presanella. Each hut offers a different programme for the Night of the Mountain Huts.

Booking is essential due to the limited number of beds in the huts. Early booking is recommended by contacting the participating huts directly or through the Val Rendena tourist office. An authentic experience for those wishing to experience the mountains at their most intimate and poetic.
